The Boutique Eco-Luxury Resort is Recognized by Several Leading Publications as One of the Sexiest Hotels in the World

Proving beyond a doubt that sustainable is sexy, the secluded ambiance of Secret Bay combined with its connection to the natural environment have led to this cliff-top coastline hideaway becoming lauded as one of the sexiest hotels in the Caribbean and in the world by top outlets covering travel.

"While Secret Bay is well known for embodying the principles of sustainability, it is only recently becoming more widely recognized for its inherent sexiness," commented Gregor Nassief, Owner and Founder of Secret Bay. "By offering our visitors the highest level of personal service in a secluded setting that provides a sense of harmony with nature, a naturally romantic aura permeates throughout the property that inspires couples to connect with one another in a deeper, more intimate way. It was love and passion that led to the creation of Secret Bay, so I'm thrilled that top outlets are seeing those emotions reflected in it."

Most recently, Secret Bay was listed as #2 among the 21 Sexiest Hotels in the World in an article appearing in Yahoo! Travel, which is one of the largest travel websites in the world. Curated from a similar list on Jetsetter, the article noted the property's "Sexy Setting" and cited dinner for two on your private patio as the Most Romantic Moment.

In addition, Secret Bay has been selected as one of the Hottest Honeymoon Destinations in the World in The Knot's annual list appearing in the Summer 2015 issue of the publication as well as online. Secret Bay and Dominica were recommended as one of the top 10 places to go for an Adventurous Honeymoon and Secret bay was praised as being "as dreamy as it sounds." In November 2014, Secret Bay also appeared in Caribbean Journal's list of "The Caribbean's Sexiest Hotels." Further, the property was a runner-up in the 2013 Smith Awards, earning Secret Bay's Zabuco honeymoon villa the distinction of being the 3rd Sexiest Bedroom in the World.

In other media accolades, Secret Bay earned an unprecedented Top 10 ranking in four categories of the 2015 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice® Awards. It ranked: #2 in the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the Caribbean, #4 in the Top 25 Small Hotels in the Caribbean; #7 in the Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean; and #9 in the Top 25 Hotels for Romance in the Caribbean. 2015 now marks three years running that Secret Bay has ranked among the top 5 of its "Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean." It also earned the coveted top spot on the "Top 25 Small Hotels in the Caribbean" ranking in 2013.

Secret Bay is also one of just two hotels in the Caribbean to receive the Andrew Harper's Grand Award for 2015. The property was also awarded a Top 10 spot in the coveted Smith Awards 2014, the only hotel from the Caribbean to make the list selected from over 900 boutique hotels worldwide. In addition, Secret Bay was selected by The Knot as one of its top honeymoon destinations in the world in 2012, the same year that it became the first property in Dominica to be named to the highly-regarded "It List" by Travel + Leisure and appear on the magazine's cover. Secret Bay has also won the impressive Development of the Year 2011 recognition at the Caribbean Hotel and Resort Investment Summit.

About Dominica
In a region saturated by tourism, Dominica remains one of the hidden gems of the Caribbean. It has been dubbed the "Nature Island" due to its abundance of natural splendours, including 365 rivers, the second largest boiling lake in the world, volcanoes, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs, and both black and white sand beaches. Much of the island is protected under national parks, one of which has achieved UNESCO World Heritage status. Dominica is a paradise for divers, hikers, birdwatchers and nature-lovers. Despite being one of the largest islands in the Caribbean (754 sq. km) it is one of the least populated (72,660) (twice the size of Barbados, it only has one fifth of its population). It is also one of the few islands to have retained some of its pre-Colombian population. For more information about Dominica visit
